After slicing and storing the result to anywhere you want, there you will have TWO FILES, one is the GCode-file with the extension *.gcode and the other is the choosen format like *.x3g or what ever. I am assuming it is because there are a lot of errors in the mesh. That you reach by setting in Tab Scripts > Post Processing the spezial format. When I generate a print it is not showing up properly and most of the model is missing. It shows a time of 0s and size of 0KB so it isn't being sliced at all. If "M3D" is Makerbot printer you need their own print format. I have tried resetting all settings, my start height in advanced settings is not activated, the model is not too thin, I don't think any repairs need to be made, but it will not show up in the print preview. I used to be able to bring the gcode files into M3d If that doesn't help, there's a button somewhere in S3D to go through the initial setup wizard again. Try deleting any processes you have and re-adding a default one. If I hit print Preprep to print, with the model positioned half below the Z, >Īctually it shows it as just half in the M3D printer but then it says optimizing and then the whole model shows up. Simplif圓D's preview is based on the generated gcode, I'm guessing your settings are somehow causing invalid gcode to be generated.
